91¸£ÀûÉç partners with Franklin University to offer bachelor’s degree- Franklin University and 91¸£ÀûÉç (91¸£ÀûÉç) hosted an event Dec. 6 to officially mark the signing of the co-location agreement between the two institutions which will allow the offering of Franklin classes at 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Fayette Campus in Washington Court House.
91¸£ÀûÉç hosts free "Astronomy is for All" event on Dec. 6- Want to look at the December sky from an amateur astronomer’s perspective? Join your guide to the skies LaRue Turner 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Learning Resources Center on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus.

Food Processing & Technology now offered at 91¸£ÀûÉç
- 91¸£ÀûÉç announces the launch of a new associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree program in Food Processing & Technology.
91¸£ÀûÉç to offer dental assistant, veterinary training programs
- Through a partnership with Boston Reed College, 91¸£ÀûÉç now provides continuing education programs in dental assistant and veterinary assistant training.
91¸£ÀûÉç faculty honored by higher education council
- The Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) recently recognized three 91¸£ÀûÉç faculty members for excellence in teaching.

91¸£ÀûÉç Patri-Tots in Hillsboro earns perfect rating- The Patri-Tots Learning Center at 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus in Hillsboro has earned a 100-percent licensing compliance inspection rating with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
91¸£ÀûÉç welcomes Montpelier archaeologist for Nov. 13 event- Specializing in American slave sites, archaeologist Matt Reeves, Ph.D., will present "Archaeology at James Madison’s Montpelier: Rediscovering and Restoring the Madison Plantation Landscape" 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus.

91¸£ÀûÉç band to perform Nov. 11 Veterans Day concert- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Community Band will honor our nation’s veterans with a Veterans Day concert 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus.
91¸£ÀûÉç South Campus to host Nov. 8 performance by Steve Free- Award-winning songwriter Steve Free of Scioto County will perform folk music 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Learning Resources Center (LRC) on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus.
'Knockemstiff' author to kick off 91¸£ÀûÉç Reading Series on Nov. 8- Award-winning author Donald Ray Pollock will kick off the new Reading Series at 91¸£ÀûÉç with a tour stop 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Lecture Hall on the college’s Central Campus.
91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre presents "A Doll’s House" Nov. 2–4- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will present Henrik Ibsen’s classic play "A Doll’s House" Nov. 2–4 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus.

"Ghosts of Ohio" event at 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus Oct. 25- Meet "Ghosts of Ohio" founder James Willis at a special event to be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Learning Resources Center on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus.
'Amending the Soil' workshop Oct. 18 at 91¸£ÀûÉç- The Brown County Master Gardeners will present a series of educational workshops and presentations on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus.
91¸£ÀûÉç provides outreach for students juggling work, families- Are you a college student trying to juggle the demands of work and family? You’re in good company. Approximately 84 percent of the total number of students enrolled in college classes nationwide are adult learners, with families and jobs.
91¸£ÀûÉç plans Oct. 18 artist reception for Roy Carpenter- An exhibition featuring artist Roy Carpenter is currently on display in the Learning Resources Center (LRC) of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus.

AmeriCorps volunteers mentoring students at 91¸£ÀûÉç- Three recent graduates have returned to 91¸£ÀûÉç this fall to serve as College Completion Coaches dedicated to supporting first-time students who are enrolled in developmental education courses to earn a certificate or degree.
Coyotes topic of Sept. 27 event at 91¸£ÀûÉç South Campus- Author Carol Cartaino will discuss her book "Myths & Truths About Coyotes" 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Learning Resources Center on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s South Campus.
Pell, Hall sworn in as 91¸£ÀûÉç trustees- At the Sept. 12 meeting of the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees, Adams County Judge Alan Foster presided over the swearing in of new trustee Mike Pell of Adams County and reappointed trustee Paul Hall of Brown County.
Progress on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s plan for new campus in Mt. Orab- With a projected opening for Fall 2014, 91¸£ÀûÉç is making steady progress on plans for its newest campus along state Route 32 in Mt. Orab.
"The Hillsboro Story" – Civil rights drama comes to 91¸£ÀûÉç- Susan Banyas will bring a theatrical performance of "The Hillsboro Story" back to its namesake town 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus.
91¸£ÀûÉç announces honors lists for summer quarter- 91¸£ÀûÉç has released its president’s and dean’s list for academic excellence for Summer Quarter 2012.

91¸£ÀûÉç soccer sabotaged at Mid Michigan Community College- 91¸£ÀûÉç’s men’s soccer team fell 0–2 to Mid Michigan Community College in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., on Aug. 25.
"A Doll’s House" auditions Sept. 7 at 91¸£ÀûÉç- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will host open auditions for the upcoming fall production of Henrik Ibsen’s "A Doll’s House."
U.S. Bank makes donation to 91¸£ÀûÉç Foundation- U.S. Bank has been a significant contributor to 91¸£ÀûÉç, totaling more than $15,000 in donation over the years resulting in numerous scholarships to 91¸£ÀûÉç students.
91¸£ÀûÉç soccer begins 2012 season with a win- On Aug. 24, the 91¸£ÀûÉç Patriots men’s soccer team made the five-hour trip to Lansing, Mich., where they defeated Great Lakes Christian College (2011 NCCAA II regional semifinalists) by a score of 4–1.
91¸£ÀûÉç Basic Peace Officers complete training- The cadets of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Basic Peace Officers Training Program were recognized at a special ceremony held August 16 at the college’s Fayette Campus in Washington Court House.
91¸£ÀûÉç’s practical nursing program honors 39 graduates- The 45th graduating class of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s practical nursing program was honored during a special pinning ceremony held August 10 on the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.

- Through a partnership with Boston Reed College, a national education provider, 91¸£ÀûÉç is now able to provide healthcare training programs that prepare students for job opportunities in the growing allied health industry.

- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees will meet 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, in Room 303 on the college’s North Campus.
Adams County man appointed as 91¸£ÀûÉç trustee- Ohio Gov. John R. Kasich’s office has filled an open seat on the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees with the appointment of Michael P. Pell of West Union in Adams County.
91¸£ÀûÉç electromechanical engineering degree offered in Manchester- Three local institutions have partnered to offer an Electromechanical Engineering degree in Manchester and those interested can learn more about it during an Aug. 1 tour and informational session.
Wells introduced as new 91¸£ÀûÉç women’s basketball coach- Matt Wells will take the helm as the new head coach of women’s basketball at 91¸£ÀûÉç. Wells is a veteran on the court, with coaching credentials at Mt. Orab Junior High, Western Brown High School, Williamsburg High School, Amelia High School and, most recently, as the varsity coach of East Clinton High School.
McAvene takes helm as new 91¸£ÀûÉç men’s basketball coach- Travis McAvene has been named the new head coach for men’s basketball at 91¸£ÀûÉç. McAvene brings a strong reputation of winning basketball games and coaching elite talent.
91¸£ÀûÉç Great Strides event raises $4,000 for Cystic Fibrosis- The weather was perfect for the Great Strides: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis event held recently at 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Fayette Campus in Washington Court House.
91¸£ÀûÉç Patri-Tots’ Summer Fest slated for July 21- The Patri-Tots Learning Center will host a Summer Fest open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, at the North Campus location.
HUBZone workshop offered free at 91¸£ÀûÉç- 91¸£ÀûÉç is hosting a free Small Business Administration (SBA) "HUBZone Boot Camp" from 9–11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, at the college’s Enterprise Center.
91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre presents "Annie" Aug. 3–5- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will present the classic, family–friendly musical "Annie" Aug 3–5 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus.

91¸£ÀûÉç’s Adult Opportunity Center holds recognition celebration- Area residents who passed the General Education Development (GED) test were honored June 14 at the 24th annual Adult Opportunity Center’s Recognition Celebration at 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.
Area college students inducted into PTK honor society- The membership of one of higher education’s most recognized honor societies, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), was enhanced by the induction of several new members at a June 15 ceremony on the Central Campus of 91¸£ÀûÉç.
91¸£ÀûÉç announces honors list for spring quarter- 91¸£ÀûÉç has released its president’s and dean’s list for academic excellence for spring quarter 2012.
Carver addresses largest graduating class in 91¸£ÀûÉç history- 91¸£ÀûÉç’s 37th annual commencement exercises were held June 8 in the Patriot Center on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.
91¸£ÀûÉç’s Associate Degree Nursing program graduates 38- Thirty-eight graduates of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Associate Degree Nursing program were recognized June 7 during a recent pinning ceremony at the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.

Hillsboro’s Kayla Deatley signs with 91¸£ÀûÉç Patriots- Kayla Deatley, a graduate of Hillsboro High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for the 91¸£ÀûÉç Patriots.
