91¸£ÀûÉç to hold orientation for free GED preparation classes- The Adult Opportunity Center (AOC) at 91¸£ÀûÉç is offering a January orientation for new program enrollees in basic academic skills, GED preparation, and college readiness.
Simulator added to 91¸£ÀûÉç’s health sciences programs- Students in 91¸£ÀûÉç’s health sciences programs will gain an increasingly realistic lab experience thanks to the addition of new Human Patient Simulator (HPS).
New truck driver training program offers free tuition and job opportunity- To help encourage and promote careers in truck driving, Schneider—one of the nation’s largest truckload carriers—is offering a Contract Training Program in conjunction with 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Truck Driving Academy (TDA).

Bob McEwen sworn in as 91¸£ÀûÉç trustee- At the Nov. 12 meeting of the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees, Fayette County Probate Court Judge David B. Bender presided over the swearing in of Bob McEwen whose appointment fills one of four vacancies on the college’s board.

Branscome signs Letter of Intent to play 91¸£ÀûÉç basketball- Hillsboro High School standout Alex Branscome has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for 91¸£ÀûÉç.
Local women invited to Dress for Success- "Ask for what you need." This is the advice that Kelly Collison, Associate Director of Programming for Dress for Success Cincinnati, repeated to guests at Highland County’s first ever Dress for Success event held Thursday at the Highland County Training and Employment Center (Hi-TEC) in Hillsboro.
Bob McEwen appointed as 91¸£ÀûÉç trustee- Ohio Gov. John R. Kasich’s office has announced an appointment to the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees. Hillsboro native Bob McEwen will serve for a term continuing through May 11, 2018.

91¸£ÀûÉç shocks PSU-GA in sudden death overtime- In its second game of the season, the 91¸£ÀûÉç soccer team defeated Penn State University – Greater Allegheny Aug. 31 in a sudden death overtime thriller.
91¸£ÀûÉç falls to PSU-NK in season opener- 91¸£ÀûÉç’s soccer team kicked off the 2014 season Aug. 30 at Penn State University (New Kensington) in Pennsylvania.

91¸£ÀûÉç opens new campus in Mt. Orab- To mark the official opening, a Dedication Ceremony was held Aug. 20 at the newest 91¸£ÀûÉç campus which is located at 351 Brooks-Malott Road in Mt. Orab.

91¸£ÀûÉç expands bachelor, master degree opportunities to Fayette County- 91¸£ÀûÉç is expanding its partnership with Lindsey Wilson College (LWC) to offer advanced degrees in Fayette County. Classes begin Friday, Aug. 29.
Sears signs Letter of Intent to play 91¸£ÀûÉç basketball- Hillsboro High School standout Wesley Sears has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for 91¸£ÀûÉç.
91¸£ÀûÉç Respiratory Care celebrates graduation- 91¸£ÀûÉç’s eighth graduating class in the respiratory care program was honored during a recent ceremony on the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.

91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre presents 'Macbeth' July 25-27- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will present William Shakespeare’s "Macbeth," at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, and at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on the Central Campus.

- COLUMBUS – State finance expert and veteran public higher education advocate Jack Hershey has been named the new President and CEO of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC).
Murray signs Letter of Intent to play 91¸£ÀûÉç basketball- Clermont Northeastern High School standout Zach Murray has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for 91¸£ÀûÉç.
Ladrach posthumously conferred title of 91¸£ÀûÉç Faculty Emeritus- As a tribute to the legacy of the late Professor Samuel N. Ladrach, Ph.D., the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees voted May 2 to confer upon him the title of Faculty Emeritus.
Info session set May 29 for 91¸£ÀûÉç’s electromechanical degree- Through a partnership between 91¸£ÀûÉç and the DP&L Generation Center, students can earn an associate degree in Electromechanical Engineering or take general education courses that will fit into most academic pathways, all at the site in Manchester.
Info session for 91¸£ÀûÉç, Scioto Tech partnership set for May 28- Through a partnership between 91¸£ÀûÉç and Scioto County Career Technical Center, students can now earn an associate degree in Computer Information Technology, Law Enforcement, or LPN-RN, all on the Scioto Tech site in Lucasville.
91¸£ÀûÉç’s Associate Degree Nursing program graduates 29- Twenty-nine graduates of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Associate Degree Nursing program were recognized during a recent pinning ceremony at the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.

Info session planned May 20 for 91¸£ÀûÉç’s aviation degree- An associate’s degree in Engineering: Aviation Maintenance is now offered through a partnership between 91¸£ÀûÉç and Great Oaks Career Campuses. Those interested in learning more about the program are invited to a May 20 orientation and informational session; classes begin Aug. 25.
91¸£ÀûÉç to host free Biotech 2014 workshop on May 16- 91¸£ÀûÉç will offer Biotech 2014 Edvotek Workshop: Biotechnology Applications for Agriculture and Education from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, on the college’s Fayette Campus.

91¸£ÀûÉç students named to All-Ohio Academic Team- Sixty of the highest achieving community-college students from around Ohio were honored Wednesday, April 30, as part of the All-Ohio Academic Team Awards. Seven students from 91¸£ÀûÉç were included in the honors.

Atrium Medical Center donates equipment to 91¸£ÀûÉç- Atrium Medical Center recently donated a BiPAP machine to the respiratory care program at 91¸£ÀûÉç.

Education fares well in Governor’s annual address- In his fourth State of the State address, Gov. John Kasich placed high importance on learning initiatives in Ohio, specifically citing the move to performance-based funding and the community college's role in workforce development, college credit in high school, and GED attainment.
91¸£ÀûÉç deemed eligible for Community College Excellence prize- 91¸£ÀûÉç was one of 150 colleges nationwide determined eligible to apply for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
