91¸£ÀûÉç announces free GED preparation classes- The Adult Opportunity Center (AOC) at 91¸£ÀûÉç is offering a January orientation in basic academic skills, GED preparation, and college readiness.

U.S. Bank contributes to 91¸£ÀûÉç Foundation- U.S. Bank has been a significant contributor to 91¸£ÀûÉç, exceeding $16,000 in donations and resulting in numerous scholarships to 91¸£ÀûÉç students.
Carey to visit 91¸£ÀûÉç to discuss business/education grant partnership- Chancellor John Carey of the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) will visit 91¸£ÀûÉç Monday, Nov. 23, to lead a roundtable discussion with RAPIDS Grant partners to discuss funding awarded to the region.
91¸£ÀûÉç band to perform Nov. 22 Veterans Day concert- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Community Band will honor our nation’s veterans with a Veterans Day concert 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Central Campus.
91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees to meet November 18- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees will meet 12 noon Wednesday, Nov. 18, in the Community Center of 91¸£ÀûÉç Fayette Campus.
Free CMT Concert at 91¸£ÀûÉç/Hillsboro on Nov. 12- Country Music Television is coming to 91¸£ÀûÉç in Hillsboro for a free concert featuring Carly Pearce who recently was recognized as one of CMT’s 2016 Next Women of Country.

91¸£ÀûÉç students invited to Ohio Collegiate Leadership Summit- Two local college students have been invited to attend Propel Ohio, hosted by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. Propel Ohio is an Ohio Collegiate Leadership Summit to be held Oct. 16 at The Ohio State University Student Union.
91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre presents "Becky’s New Car" Nov. 6-8- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will present "Becky’s New Car," at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, and a matinee at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on the Central Campus of 91¸£ÀûÉç, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

91¸£ÀûÉç Basic Peace Officers complete training- The cadets of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Basic Peace Officers Training Program were recognized at a special ceremony held August 13 at the college’s Fayette Campus in Washington Court House.
91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees to meet August 19- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees will meet 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, in the Community Room on the college’s Brown County Campus, 351 Brooks Malott Road, Mt. Orab.

91¸£ÀûÉç’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter wins completion award- 91¸£ÀûÉç’s local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, has been recognized regionally for highest profile completion on PTK’s scholarship website.

Wilson signs Letter of Intent to play 91¸£ÀûÉç basketball- Fairfield High School graduate Joey Wilson has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for 91¸£ÀûÉç.

Earn an 91¸£ÀûÉç degree in 18 months with new evening accelerated program- With 91¸£ÀûÉç’s new accelerated associate degree programs, students can spend just two nights per week in class—and finish in 18 months.
91¸£ÀûÉç offers new six-weekend Real Estate program- A new accelerated program in Real Estate will be offered at 91¸£ÀûÉç beginning in September.
Upcoming info sessions for 91¸£ÀûÉç programs- 91¸£ÀûÉç is hosting informational sessions for several of its technical programs which are offered at both campus and offsite locations. The info sessions are being held at the locations where those programs are offered. Fall semester classes begin Aug. 24 and registration is now underway.
Wallace named keynote speaker for July 20-23 education conference at 91¸£ÀûÉç- Dr. Teri Wallace has been named the keynote speaker for the seventh annual education conference, "Building Bridges," which will be held July 20-23, 2015, at 91¸£ÀûÉç Com-munity College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.
91¸£ÀûÉç announces new GED site in West Union- 91¸£ÀûÉç announces the opening of a new GED preparation site in West Union. Beginning in August, the college’s Adult Opportunity Center will offer its GED prep classes from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the West Union Church of Christ on 270 Lloyd Road (across from the high school).

91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre presents "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" July 24-26- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will present "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, and a family-friendly lite version at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, in the Edward K. 91¸£ÀûÉç awards Wilson/Paeltz Memorial Scholarship to Haley Meranda - 91¸£ÀûÉç is proud to announce the recipient of the Dylan Phillip Wilson and Nathan Paeltz Memorial Scholarship for 2015. The 91¸£ÀûÉç Foundation presented the award to Haley Meranda, a 2015 graduate of Georgetown High School.

91¸£ÀûÉç’s Associate Degree Nursing program celebrates graduation- Forty-two graduates of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Associate Degree Nursing program were recognized during a recent pinning ceremony at the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.
91¸£ÀûÉç instructor wins state nursing educator award- A nursing instructor with 91¸£ÀûÉç has been awarded the Excellence in Practical Nursing Education Award from the Ohio Organization of Practical Nurse Educators (OOPNE) at the state conference in March.

Dr. Randall to deliver 91¸£ÀûÉç commencement address- 91¸£ÀûÉç is pleased to announce Thomas Randall, M.D., has been selected to deliver the commencement address for the college’s 40th graduating class. Commencement will begin 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, in The Patriot Center on Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

De Bruin, Prickett, Rudduck sworn in as 91¸£ÀûÉç trustees- At the March 18 meeting of the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees, Clinton County Common Pleas Court Judge Tim Rudduck presided over the swearing in of Brian De Bruin, Brian Prickett, and Kyle Rudduck, whose appointments fill the final vacancies on the college’s board.
