Auditions for 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre's "Othering" will be January 17 and 18, 2025- 91¸£ÀûÉç Theatre will hold auditions for the spring production of "Othering," a new, original play by Rainee Angles.
91¸£ÀûÉç students inducted into PTK Honor Society- The membership of one of higher education's most recognized honor societies, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), was enhanced by the induction of several new members at a December 11 ceremony held on 91¸£ÀûÉç's Central Campus.

Excellence and Growth Opportunities on Horizon Following Coming Changes- During the 91¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees meeting on November 21, 2024, the Board entertained two agenda items essential to long-term sustainability and the College's mission component of quality. The first item proposed several programmatic changes, while the other involved a resolution to resume full operational use of the College’s entire physical footprint at the Early Learning Center in Hillsboro.

91¸£ÀûÉç's Lisa Hord Wins Outstanding Leadership Award- On November 11, 2024, the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) presented Lisa Hord, Strategic Project Support Specialist at 91¸£ÀûÉç, with the Outstanding Leadership Award. Hord was one of several candidates nominated to receive the award.

Daniels Auditorium on 91¸£ÀûÉç's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; the Sunday matinee begins at 3:30 p.m.

91¸£ÀûÉç Awards Dylan Philip Wilson and Nathan Paeltz Memorial Scholarship to Rebeca Roblero-Solis and Alicia Wagner- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Foundation has announced Rebeca Roblero-Solis and Alicia Wagner as the recipients of the Dylan Philip Wilson and Nathan Paeltz Memorial Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year.
2024 Fall Semester Experiences Enrollment Increase- 91¸£ÀûÉç is excited to announce a 5.7% increase in student enrollment for the 2024 fall semester. Gains of 10.5% in College Credit Plus (CCP) enrollment and 0.4% increase in non-CCP hours suggest that the College continues to rely heavily on CCP enrollment while holding non-CCP enrollment steady.
91¸£ÀûÉç to Host Healthcare Simulation Open House and Career Fair on September 18- In honor of Healthcare Simulation Week, 91¸£ÀûÉç will host an open house on Wed., September 18 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive in Hillsboro. This event is free and open to the community.

91¸£ÀûÉç Student Named 2024 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar- 91¸£ÀûÉç student Marianne Price is one of 210 Phi Theta Kappa members named a 2024 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar. She will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Price is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing.
91¸£ÀûÉç Awards Dr. Sherry and Michael Stout Scholarship to Marianne Price- The 91¸£ÀûÉç Foundation has announced Marianne Price as the recipient of the Dr. Sherry and Mike Stout Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year.

To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average while carrying a specific number of academic credit hours. Those who achieve the Dean's List are full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

91¸£ÀûÉç to hold youth summer program June 24-27- 91¸£ÀûÉç is excited to announce Kids Career Encounter, a Summer Enrichment Program taking place June 24-27, 2024. Designed to foster creativity, learning, and personal growth, Kids Career Encounter offers students the chance to learn about different career pathways. Each session will be filled with fun activities that relate to one or more of 91¸£ÀûÉç's academic programs.
91¸£ÀûÉç's ADN program celebrates graduation- Thirty-six graduates of 91¸£ÀûÉç's Associate Degree Nursing Program were recognized during a May 2 pinning ceremony at the college's Central Campus in Hillsboro.

91¸£ÀûÉç hosts Ohio Code Scholar event- On Monday, May 6, 2024, 91¸£ÀûÉç hosted the second annual end-of-year celebration for students, faculty, and staff involved in the Ohio Code Scholar (OCS) project. This event occurred in the Patriot Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and culminated the program's work in southern Ohio, supporting the Ohio Code Scholar (OCS).

91¸£ÀûÉç Computer Science Program and COSI team up for STEM event- On May 1, 91¸£ÀûÉç's Computer Science Department, led by Associate Professor Dr. Joshua Montgomery, organized a STEM MiniDome Celebration Day at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus for students.
91¸£ÀûÉç awards Study Abroad Scholarships- In partnership with EF Study Abroad, 91¸£ÀûÉç will be traveling to the British Isles: England, Ireland, and Wales May 16-26, 2024. Among the travelers are five students who have been awarded the inaugural study abroad scholarship from the Sara M. Barrere Memorial Trust Scholarship Fund, made possible through the College's Foundation.

Career Connections Job and College Fair held at 91¸£ÀûÉç- On April 24, 91¸£ÀûÉç's Department of Health Sciences hosted a Career Connections Job Fair and RN-BSN College Fair. Over 50 current and prospective students attended as well as 10 employers and 5 colleges with whom 91¸£ÀûÉç partners for seamless transfer opportunities.
Four 91¸£ÀûÉç Students Named to the All-Ohio Academic Team- 91¸£ÀûÉç is pleased to announce that four current 91¸£ÀûÉç students have been named to the All-Ohio Academic Team. The students, joining other honorees from Ohio's community college system, will be honored with scholarships for their academic excellence, leadership, and community service. A ceremony to recognize this year's award winners will be held virtually on April 26 as part of Community College Month in Ohio.

91¸£ÀûÉç student travels to Arizona to tour Intel Facility- 91¸£ÀûÉç student Kayla Bradshaw, of Clinton County, is one of 25 women in Ohio to recently be awarded an Intel Semiconductor Scholarship; a scholarship established by Intel Corporation. Of these 25 scholarship recipients, only 8 were selected to visit the Intel Semiconductor Facility in Phoenix, Arizona for a hands-on experience. Bradshaw was one of the 8 students selected to attend.

91¸£ÀûÉç's Phi Theta Kappa Chapter attends Ohio Region Awards Conference- The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Ohio Region Awards Conference was held on Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th. The event was hosted by Cuyahoga Community College. 91¸£ÀûÉç's chapter had four officers and one advisor in attendance. In total, 14 chapters were in attendance/represented. This was a time of fellowship, celebration, and business proceedings.

Associate of Business degree with Agriculture Concentration offered this Fall at 91¸£ÀûÉç- 91¸£ÀûÉç's Associate of Applied Business degree with an agriculture concentration is slated to begin in August. This initiative has been designed with local high schools that offer an agriculture program aligned with College Credit Plus. Students who may be interested in this pathway are encouraged to start planning now.
91¸£ÀûÉç scholarship money is available NOW to students majoring in healthcare - APPLY TODAY- Nursing and allied health students at 91¸£ÀûÉç could reap the benefits from the myriad scholarship opportunities offered through the 91¸£ÀûÉç Foundation, a tax-exempt organization founded in 1996.

91¸£ÀûÉç welcomes new Mental Health Counselor- 91¸£ÀûÉç is pleased to announce the employment of Elizabeth Crabtree, an Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, who will serve the student population beginning January 8. This position is funded through a mental health support grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education.
